A 3-part virtual series to build community through love, compassion, grace and vulnerability. Using the foundations of Yoga philosophy as a base for discussion, our aim is to explore our current modern-day concerns and issues in an open and free space. This is a community gathering to share our thoughts, hopes and fears – a true satsang. Each gathering will include a 21-day kriya based practice including breath work, mantras and meditation to continue this work together while creating a visceral imprint mind, body and soul.

What stands in our way from having open and heartfelt conversations with friends, colleagues or those we have yet to meet? How do we exercise complicity in our friendships for fear of confrontation? In this gathering we will discuss the somatic stress response and its impact on our ability to communicate and connect with others both verbally and non-verbally.

When we go to the source of all spiritual concepts and practices, at the heart is love. Vedantism, at the center of Yoga philosophy, is the belief in oneness. That we are all one. That who we are on the inside is the same, all yearning for the same thing – love. Yet this concept is often discounted to something that just happens on the mat or in the studio. How can we move to the source of this love? How can we grow this love into our communities and with each other?

Peace begins with you. To find this peace we must also heal from within. To process our pain and release our past traumas. Not to forget them, but to move past them, to no longer allow them to control us in the present. What are our daily practices to promote peace and release pain? How can we share this with others to build love and well-being within our communities?
